National Examination Council (NECO) Releases 2019 Nov/Dec GCE RESULTS

Latest information reaching our news desk today is that the National Examinations Council (NECO) Management has announced the released of the Neco results for the 2019 November/December General Certificate Examinations (GCE).

Using this medium, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Neco body, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, while announcing the results in Minna,m Niger State on Wednesday, gave the following astonishing statistics.

A total of 50,060 candidates registered,
Out of the 50,060 candidates, 47,507 sat for the English Language,
While 47,554 candidates sat for Mathematics.

Prof. Abdulrashid Garba further disclosed that out of the number that sat for English, 29,718 representing 62.55 percent obtained credit pass while a total of 32,484 that sat for Mathematics, which represents 68.30% passed at credit level.

The NECO registrar Further said that out of 39,389 candidates, who sat for Biology, 17,227 or 43.73 % obtained credit pass, while the rest failed.

While for Chemistry, out of 22,284 candidates that sat for the Chemistry examination, 11,951 representing 53.63% made it at credit level.

22,201 candidates sat for the Physics examination, while 818 or 3.68% passed the subject at credit level.

A total number of 19,781 candidates sat for the Geography examination, and 3,851 or 19.46% passed at credit level.
