Important Information.
It is very important for all candidates to take note that the Registration for Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE) has begun. While the required examination registration cards are now available at NECO offices/ approved schools.
SCHOOLS AND CANDIDATES SHOULD NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Candidates and supervisors should note that if in any rare case, the time on the question paper is different from the time on this BECE timetable shared above, the time on the question paper should be strictly adhered to.
- Candidates should be aware that practicals in Business Studies and Basic Science & Technology (BST) should be in sets where the number of candidates is large and the equipment cannot go. However, the practical examination should not exceed 5.00 pm. Schools are allowed to use computers for Business Studies.
- It is mandatory that all Albinos and Blind candidates must be allocated an extra 30 minutes.
- Blind Candidates must make use of NECO-supplied OBR Customised Braille Sheet for the examination.
- It is highly prohibited that candidates bring into the examination hall, electronic communication gadgets, such as programmable calculators, smartphones, iPads, Tablets, Smart watches, smart glasses, or smart pens. These items are 100% prohibited and candidates who these items are found in their possession will have themselves to blame.
